We founded the 776 Academy to provide our community with the knowledge and skills to move better and move faster. The 776 Academy provides you with access to world-leading movement experts via workshops, interactive webinars and events. We’re excited to announce that the 776 Academy has partnered with Athletics Australia to bring world-leading athletics coach and movement expert Dan Pfaff to Australia this June. We will be hosting a number of events offering you the opportunity to get unrivalled access to Dan’s deep knowledge of movement and speed mechanics.
So, who is Dan Pfaff?
Dan Pfaff is one of the worlds most decorated track and field coaches. Dan has coached five Olympic Games teams and six World Championship teams across the globe. In that time, he has coached 49 Olympians, 51 World Champions, and 5 World Record holders. Dan was also a part of UK Athletics for three highly successful years and following that became the education director and lead jumps coach at the World Athletics Center. Dan is currently the head coach at industry leading elite athlete training program ALTIS, and was the coaching education curriculum chair for the USA Track and Field coach’s association, and the NACAC Caribbean Basin project. He has also helped coach a number of Australian athletes from pole vaulter Steve Hooker to long jumpers Fabrice Lapierre and Mitchell Watt. 776BC is excited to be working with Dan and to be able to share his knowledge and expertise to the Australian sporting community.

Running Mechanics
In partnership with South Yarra Spine & Sports Medicine, Dan Pfaff along with John Quinn and Karen Holtzer will be discussing how to assess, apply and coach running mechanics to improve performance and reduce injury. Click Here for More Information
Speed & Acceleration
Presented in partnership with Athletics Victoria, this session will see Dan covering speed and acceleration mechanics, motor learning and cues for optimum movement in a practical and theoretical session.
