Alice McNamara is a two time World Champion rower, international stair climbing champion and medical student.

Alice began rowing at Loreto Mandeville Hall, and joined Melbourne University Boat Club in 2004. Alice has represented Australia as a member of the Australian Rowing team for 9 years, with highlights including taking home Gold in the Lightweight Quad Scull in 2007 and 2008 World Rowing Championships. She was also Olympic reserve for the Lightweight double scull in 2008 and 2012.

In 2014 Alice will represent Australia in the Lightweight Double Scull with Ella Flecker at World Cup 2 and 3 in France and Switzerland, and the World Championships in The Netherlands.

To satisfy her love of racing, Alice is also a three time consecutive winner of the Eureka Tower Climb in Melbourne, Winner of the Empire State Building Run up in New York City, the Willis Tower Climb in Chicago and the KL tower in Malaysia and 2nd in Taipei 101 in Taiwan.
