By connecting to the 776BC FREE WIFI network ("Network") at our pop-up retail store at the Australia Rowing Championships, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please disconnect immediately.

1. About the Service

776BC Pty Ltd provides complimentary Wi-Fi at our pop-up retail location for the duration of the Australia Rowing Championships. The service is free of charge and for personal, non-commercial use only. The Network password is updated hourly — to receive the current password, scan the QR code in-store and complete the sign-up form. You are welcome to reconnect each time the password changes.

2. Eligibility

By connecting, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over (or have parental/guardian consent), and that you will use the Network in accordance with these Terms and applicable Australian law.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the Network for general browsing, social media, email, and other lawful online activity.

You must not use the Network to:

• Access, upload, or distribute unlawful, offensive, or harmful content
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Send spam or unsolicited commercial communications
• Attempt unauthorised access to any system or network
• Download or distribute malware or malicious code
• Conduct any illegal activity
• Use peer-to-peer file sharing or high-bandwidth streaming that degrades the Network for others

776BC reserves the right to terminate your access immediately for any breach of these Terms.

4. Privacy & Data Collection

When you connect, we may collect your device MAC address, connection time and duration, data usage volume, and websites visited at the domain level. This information is used for network management and security purposes only.

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy at www.776bc.com and in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We will not sell your personal information to third parties.

By connecting, you consent to this data collection.

5. Security

This is a public Wi-Fi network and is not end-to-end encrypted. Data you transmit may be visible to third parties. We recommend avoiding sensitive transactions such as online banking while connected. 776BC is not responsible for any data interception or loss arising from your use of the Network.

6. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Network is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific connection speeds, or availability at all times during the event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 776BC will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Network. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Network Management

776BC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Network at any time without notice, and to filter or block certain content categories or disconnect users who are in breach of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
