Elise Rechichi is a two time Olympian and Olympic Gold Medalist having taken out Gold in the 470 Sailing Class at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

After taking up sailing at the age of 7, Elise quickly compiled a long list of impressive results claiming Silver at the 2002 Youth World Championships and Gold a year later in Youth World Championships before partnering with Tessa Parkinson to take out the Open and Youth 2004 World Championships all before the age of 18.

Rechichi and Parkinson proved a strong partnership bringing home Gold for Australia in the 470 class at their debut Olympics in Beijing, 2008. After taking a break from the sport after Beijing, Rechichi made a spectacular return to the water in 2011 teaming up with Sydney Olympic Gold medalist Belinda Stowell. Just weeks after pairing up they claimed 9th at the 2011 World Championships, including a 2nd in the Gold medal race. Continuing on to 2012, the duo represented Australia in the 470 class at the 2012 London Olympic Games finishing 7th overall. Since London, Elise has teamed up with a new teammate in Olympic rower Sarah Cook.

Sarah Cook is a two time Olympian having represented Australia in the Women’s Pair in Beijing, and Women’s Eight at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Born in Ipswich and raised in Canberra, Cook's parents always encouraged her to participate in sport. Cook turned her focus to rowing at the age of 15 and had made her first national team by the age of 19. Having competed in 5 World Championships and 2 Olympics, Sarah has two World Championship medals; bronze in the women's eight in 2006 and silver in the women's coxless four in 2010. Sarah competed in the women's pair at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games alongside London Olympic Silver and Bronze Medalist Kim Crow and in the Women’s Eight at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

After returning from the London Olympics Sarah made the bold decision to turn her experience as an elite athlete to a completely new sport, sailing. Sarah has teamed up with Elise in the 470 class with the aim of representing Australia at her third Olympic Games at Rio 2016.
